BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 portable power station

A portable power station is a big rechargeable battery with wall outlets, USB ports and solar input: quiet, with no fumes, for camping, power outages and RVs. The right one depends on two numbers and on what you want to run. This guide explains both, then matches BLUETTI's portable power stations to each use, with today's prices and the BLUETTI codes that work.

What size portable power station do I need?

Wh (watt-hours): how longCapacity. A bigger number means more phone charges, or more hours of a fridge, fan or CPAP.
W (watts): what it can runOutput. It has to be higher than the wattage of the device you plug in, such as a kettle, microwave or power tool.
Quick sum: device watts × hours of use = Wh needed, then add about 20% for losses. Example: a 60W mini fridge for 10 hours needs about 600Wh, plus 20% = about 720Wh. That points to a 1,000Wh portable power station, not a 288Wh one. Check the label on your own device (fridge, CPAP, TV) for its real wattage.

FAQ

What size portable power station do I need?

Add up the watts of what you want to run, multiply by the hours you need, and add about 20%. Phones and lights: about 300Wh. A fridge or CPAP overnight: 1,000Wh or more. Home backup: 2,500Wh or more.

Are portable power stations worth it?

They are quiet, give off no fumes and can be recharged from the wall, a car or solar panels, so they work indoors during outages and at campsites where generators aren't allowed. Whether one is worth it depends on how often you camp or lose power.

Can a portable power station run a refrigerator?

Yes, if its output (W) is higher than the fridge's and its capacity (Wh) covers the hours you need. A 60W mini fridge for 10 hours needs about 720Wh including losses, so a 1,000Wh model like the Elite 100 V2 fits.

Which BLUETTI is best for camping?

For a weekend of phones, lights and a laptop, the Elite 30 V2 (288Wh). For a fridge or several days, the Elite 100 V2 (1,024Wh) or the AC180 with a solar panel.

Which BLUETTI is best for home backup?

The Apex 300: 3,840W output and 2,764.8Wh of capacity, with room for expansion batteries.

Is there a BLUETTI coupon code?

Yes: 5% off sitewide, 5% off the Elite 100 V2, $8 off orders under $1,000 and 5% off the Charger 1. Tap Show code in the offers box.
